Hi All,

I am currently a Canadian Citizen working as an mechanical engineer under TN status for a manufacturing company in the US.

Am I eligible to take the patent bar? How can I be eligible to take the patent bar?

Your response is greatly appreciated!

My number is (626) 215-2396.

I think the answer is the same as the one for H1-B status.   The particular assigned duties of your position would need to indicate that you are going to be prosecuting patent applications.    Just generally being a mechanical engineer probably won't be enough.
