I went to http://www.dothack.com/game. Is it okay to put their flash movie on my website if it has their copyright footer and a copyright in the code on all of the pages with their content? I don't know how to e-mail them or if I can, asking if I can. I wanted to show how cool .hack games were, and also some people's browsers have firewalls that don't let them go to dothack.com since it has "hack" in it. But anyways I was wondering if it was legal. Thank you.

I don't think putting a reference to the site is a problem. Having the site open at your site ought to be. If I represeneted them I think I would recommend their taking acction if your site had their site open.

If it were clear what you had and what you want to do with is, it would  be easier to answer.

If you are looking for a publisher, there is always the legitimate risks that those you send it to, like the idea and create from what you have sent without copying what you have sent.
