No, no aliases for me...just plain ol' SciGuy.  No very creative given that my 1st name is Bill.  I was accepted for law school last year but had to defer until 2006.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I meant XOXOHTH message board. Did your PhD help you getting into any schools that were normally beyond your numbers(LSAT, UGPA)? Thanks.

When I was first thinking about law school I met with the head of admissions at the school in my area (ranked about 70th at that time).  She told me that if your undergrad GPA and LSAT school are almost good enough to get in, "experience" will put your application in the accepted pile at most schools.  Having post-grad degrees, post-grad course work, post-grad GPA, work experience, etc. are all considered "experience."  I'm not sure if it made a difference in my case b/c I only applied to a handful of schools, none of which were top 10.
