I'm curious.

I've been searching on some find a lawyer websites and your name and/or law firm doesn't seem to come up.

Are you really a lawyer, or do you just play one on the internet?

Did a google search on you.  You seem to spend all your time answering message board posts.

Bill,

Google is good, but it's not god.

Mr. Auslander is listed as a registered US Patent Attorney on the USPTO's website:

http://www.uspto.gov

Auslander, M
Auslander and Thomas
505 Eighth Ave
New York NY US 10463
212-594-6900
18376
Attorney

His registration number indicates that he has been a registered attorney for a long time. For reference, I've been a registered agent since 1995 and my number is 37,944.

If you consider that US patent attorneys with his amount of experience routinely charge in excess of $375 per hour (some significantly more), that he spends his time answering message board posts for free should be seen as a valuable contribution to the public discussion about patents.

Hope this satisfies your curiousity.

Well I just thought that lawyers.com would have him.

Additionally the address he posts is this:

M. Arthur Auslander
Auslander & Thomas-Intellectual Property Law Since 1909
3008 Johnson Ave., New York, NY 10463

The other address is NY, NY.  The zip of 10463 is the Bronx.

Dear Bill,

I don't use a website. I practice Intellectual Propery Law. I am also specially registered to prosecute patents before the United States Patent and Tracemark Office. Any lawyer in good standing can prosecute trademarks before the USPTO.

My current address is below.

The most famous trademark that I registered, that I can think of now is the original L.L. Bean trademark. Bean started in 1912. The mark Bean had been registered in 1929.

The important use of the mark was the L.L. Bean which I registered many years ago. There are other marks they use that I also have registered.
