After a long and involuntary hiatus, I am back and hope to be participating more actively in the forum once again.
For those that care, my wife and I welcomed our second child into the world this past March. Unfortunately, she was born with a life threatening congenital heart defect and had to have open heart surgery at the ripe old age of 11 weeks. Thankfully the doctors were able to fix her heart, and she is expected to have a perfectly normal life.
I'm not soliciting anyone, but if any of you are ever looking for a good cause to support, please consider the cardiac center of Children's Hospital Boston. The folks that work there are nothing short of miracle workers.
