I have a BS(EE) (3.7 GPA), MS(CS) (3.4 GPA), 15 years in software industry, in JD program in Tier 1 school (class of 2008 ) Passed Patent Bar and looking for a patent agent position in Dallas TX area.

What is a law firm likely to pay me with these credentials? I want to pursue something long-term that results in an associate attorney position upon graduation.

Varies widely by firm, but I would guess it is comparable to the Houston market.  So you could probably get 60k as a minimum base, with quick raises if you do well.
