30 day retest rule
« on: 03-08-12 at 02:26 pm »

Regarding the 30-day period that must take place before taking the patent bar exam again - how is this time period calculated?

If I take the exam on the 25th and need to take it again - is the first day that I can retake the 25th or 26th of the following month?

Or is it exactly 30 calendar days between exams?

Thanks!

I don't know the answer, but why be in such a hurry to retake it on the very earliest possible date?  If you blew it the first time, you would probably want to study for more than 30 days until the next round anyway.  Also, check with the OED, but I think when I was in this situation, the letter I got from OED saying I blew it the first time gave me the earliest date on which I could retake it.
