File a trademark in EU

Hi Everybody,


I am considering to file a trademark in EU.  Anybody has filed a trademark in EU.  I have filed the same trademark with the US already.

I am wondering if there is a big difference between EU trademark law and US trademarke law and how the difference would affect description of trademark in filing documents or any other aspects.
