Does M.S. help for patent law?
« on: 06-30-05 at 04:17 pm »

I'm a rising 2L at a top 20 law school, straight out of undergrad with a B.S. in EE from a top 5 engineering school. How beneficial would it be for me to get a M.S. in EE as far as securing a job in the IP market, and for any future endeavors related to IP law?

Also, what if I want to specialize in a particular area of EE? Would it help to have a M.S. focused in that particular area?

Thanks for any advice.

I would say that just a BEE is good enough.  I have yet to see many MS EE in practice.  Take a look at some firms if you are concerned.
