should i really??

Hi all! I'm 36, PhD in life science, over 10 years of academic research with multiple publications. More than fluent in Chinese, German and English, lived in three continents. Frustrated with the academic path and considering the IP career, but not sure if it's worth the effort and how the job market will look like for me personally. What do you think? Does the background in science and/or multiple cultural background count at all? Appreciate all your input!

I know folks with less impresive qualifications than you that make quite a nice living translating patent applications and other technical documents. You might want to consider that route before sinking ~50-150k into a legal education.
