Hi Everyone,

I can't seem to find the forum rules, and I was a little scared by the welcome message...lol. Can someone send me the link to the forum rules please?

Thank you!

Hi.  I'm one of the guys who deletes spam and bans spammers.  I think the Forum Administrator tried to discourage spammers with stern language on some initial page that I never see anymore.  I tried to convince him that stern language won't discourage spammers, but he's Canadian.  Apparently, stern language still works there.

Just don't spam, and I won't ban you.  Just write about intellectual property and try to limit all marketing efforts to the "Announcements" section.  Also, be respectful of others here.  Banning for nastiness has been very rare, but it has happened.

Oh, and don't post anything that could get the Forum Administrator (owner) in trouble.

Otherwise, I don't think any rules are really posted, unless there's a link on that initial page with threats of displeasure toward spammers.

Welcome.

Hi Jim,

I'm a patent agent (being sworn in as an attorney in two weeks) who developed and released an iPad app related to patents.  Should I stick my promo in the Announcements section?

Thanks,
Drew
