Form PTO/SB/64 needs to be filed out and filed.

On page 2, it gives 2 options to be sent:  1) snail mail and 2) fax.

Can it be efiled?  Do I need the certificate of mailing?

I believe that it can be efiled because it mentions 37 CFR 1.8(a) on the form, but then if it can be efiled, which box do I check?  Only have boxes for snail mail and fax.

TIA.

I'm not sure what the right answer to the question is, but I used Adobe Pro to add a line of text between the two options, which said:
"X - Filed electronically".

There is a specific type for petitions. I then choose "Office of Petitions" to receive it. Again, I'm not sure that is right, but I didn't have time to run it past the brain trust here. Anyone want to confirm what I did was right,...or inform me of what I did wrong?

Thx,
Warren

E-file and don't check either one. You don't need these sort of certifications with EFS, since the EEFS system itself provides a time/date stamp at the time of filing.
