Is it a good idea to verify the PTA calculation in a Notice of Allowance? Has anybody ever come across a Notice of Allowance with an incorrect PTA calculation? Does anyone know of a free-to-use PTA calculator that I can find online?

Thanks a bunch for all your help.

I found this site http://www.zerodegreestrue.com/sandbox/pta.php  its calculator makes you do much of the possibly error-prone work but would still be a help. There is another site that charges $200 per application.

George:  Thank you!  I checked it out.  It is indeed "tedious", but at least it is a road map.  Concerning the OP, unfortunately I rarely have a case in which the client doesn't require/request multiple EOTs and one (or more) RCEs. They refuse to narrow the claims.  If every reply has req'd an EOT and at least one RCE has been filed and I get "0" days extension, I ask the client, via a form paragraph if they want me to (and will pay me for) review of the PTE calculation. Rarely any takers.   Can you point me to the $200 site?  Cheaper that I could do it.  I might offer the option to client and bill it as a disbursement if they say yes.  Thx.

NJ Patent1 - I have not used it but the site looks pretty authoritative with several white papers on the topic.
