law school or not?

asian female, international student
physics major in a state U
GPA 3.5 (major GPA 3.8 ). June LSAT 165, preparing for October
I will go to the highest ranking school that gives me a full ride
I'm not interested in biglaw

Will i be able to find a job as a foreigner?
Should i go to law school or not???

Depends on how good your written English skills are. Writing skills are *very* important in patent drafting and prosecution.

Also depends on how good your spoken English skills are. While most of a patent attorney's communication is written, you will be interacting with clients, inventors and/or Examiners. If an employer thinks that these folks will have trouble understanding you, then this will make it difficult to find a job.

If you're not set on patent prosecution, and if you're Chinese (even diaspora Chinese), you might have a good chance with firms that have an office in mainland China.  Several of my LL.M. classmates got such offers.
