EE work experience

I am graduating with a BSEE (3.4 gpa) from the University of Washington (top 20 EE).  My plans are to work 1 year as an engineer, probably in telecommunications, and then go to law school.  I have a couple questions regarding patent law.

1.  Assuming an above average LSAT (160+), what are my chances of getting into a decent law school like UW?

2.  I have heard that job opportunities and salary in law are very dependent upon where one goes to law school.  Is this the same with jobs in patent law?  If I do not get into UW I am thinking Seattle University (ranked about 85 i think).

3.  In your opinion, will intellectual property opportunities in Seattle (or elsewhere I suppose) in 4 years be as prevalent and lucrative as they are now?

4.  Would having two or three years work experience positively influence my admission chances and job prospects very much?

Thank you very much.

I live in the Seattle area, and i know that you won't get into UW with less than a 166 LSAT with your GPA (assuming you aren't a URM). It is a very competitive school. Seattle U is completely regional with a nice little network of Alum in the area. Can't speak to its IP program.

Concerning work experience and other extras: everything helps you in law school admissions, but your GPA/LSAT (i.e. index number) is by far the biggest factor.

Sorry i can't help you more.
