...'social message' within it. It makes a good moral point about something and it's clearly obvious for anyone to see. This is your reason for uploading it.  What are your thoughts on this? Should I be allowed to upload it without permission?

Short bits from other people's work may be quoted/copied as fair use; but to take longer amounts or the whole of a work from another and reproduce it without permission of the creator harms that person.

Why not summarize the important social message in your own words and publicize it (giving credit where credit is due to keep on the moral side)?

This post is an off-the-cuff musing and should not be misconstrued as legal advice. THERE IS NO ATTORNEY-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN US. Proper legal advice requires full disclosure of facts-not appropriate to a public forum-and attorney research time and effort which has not been expended here.

When you commit copyright infringement by posting someone else's work as an illustration of a moral lesson, can I have your permission to post a screenshot of your posting on my site as an illustration of irony?   ;)

And your use may or may not be 'fair use', but unless your use is really quite clearly a fair use, you may need to defend your use of the clip against a DMCA takedown notice and/or an infringement lawsuit.
