I was wondering if anyone knows anything about Tradmarking a name of a band? How much does it cost? What form do I use to trademark that name? The same thing for a bands logo.

Another thing... If a band writes, records, presses a c.d. and then sells that cd's in stores, does this have any trademark or copyright value?

As some of you might be able to tell by my questions I'm in a band and have currently come up on some issues involving another band using my bands name.
