For an MS project, I would like to use a large set of statistics I collected during the 2003 NFL season.  I already contacted the NFL and received permission, but I am wondering whether I need to obtain permission from the newspapers from which the data came.  I already contacted the sports editors, who gave me at least indirect approval, but do I need to contact the publishers or someone higher up?
