Hi,
I want to trademark a name for a real-estate rental website through which consumers can visit the site, view properties, submit offers to rent, and the like.  What class and sub-class would it fall under. (I believe it will be a service right)

Also, similar to how facebook has "poke", digg.com has "digg this", I have a mark that allows people to "xxxx" the listing.   How do I trademark my verb "xxxx", where xxxx is not a word from the dictionary.  What class / sub-class would that fall under?

Did a quick class code search (http://tess2.uspto.gov/netahtml/tidm.html) and it looks either or both may apply to you:

035 which includes providing an interactive real estate website which promotes housing and apartment properties through offering prospective tenants video walk throughs, property descriptions, text, price, location, maps and other information that would be influential to a prospective tenant in making a rental decision. OR 036 which includes providing an Internet website portal offering information in the fields of real estate concerning the purchase and sale of new and resale homes and condos

Also, similar to how facebook has "poke", digg.com has "digg this", I have a mark that allows people to "xxxx" the listing.   How do I trademark my verb "xxxx", where xxxx is not a word from the dictionary.  What class / sub-class would that fall under?

That one I don't know about.

Better answer even than our esteemed Yak's answer  ;) : don't worry about the class.  Describe the services and the examiner will put it in the appropriate class.

Good point.  Sometimes inexperience leads to working harder, not smarter.
