Can anyone suggest some resources I can read up on to get more familiar with intellectual property specific to the medical device sector?  I'm envisioning blogs and other internet resources in particular, although I'm receptive to anything helpful.  Many thanks in advance.

Another starting point is to look at the larger medical device companies that interest you then search their patents and read them.

Patentability rules vary regarding medical treatment, and also vary across countries.

I have patent litigation experience (EE degree and USPTO registered) and transactional experience dealing with medical devices, so I'm looking to leverage that into a longer term patent role dealing with medical devices.  Just wondering if there are resources out there tailored to that end.  Thanks for the blog suggestion.  More stuff like this would be helpful.
