How will E8R8 Differ?
« on: 02-23-11 at 03:28 pm »

I'm planning on taking the patent bar, but probably after the next change in April.

How will the changes affect what I need to study for the exam?  Can I still buy older material and study it, and just augment with the newer MPEP and additional docs/decisions?

Any insight here would be very useful, thanks!

That is a good question.  I am wondering the same thing given that I'm not buying new/updated study materials.  There are some "additional" information that will be tested on that is not on the exam, such as "Re. Bilski".  Details on uspto.gov.

A few answers change.  That's about it.

So is it still useful to buy older study material?  Can the new information be easily studied just by looking at USTPO?
