Will pre-law courses help ?

I'm planning to attempt the patent bar later this year.

My local law-school offers pre-law courses in the summer for potential law school students.

I have no background in law and am not familiar with complex legal terminology.

Will these pre-law courses help me understand the legal terminology and the study material for the patent bar better ?
