These are they type of e-mails I work to Chase and receive below (High Level of Interest): Company and Contact Information removed

Hi Derek;

       Our R&D have make the planning to make the prototype in Sept and finish the life time striking testing in Sept. So we will update the static on end of Sept. If there is no problem on the testing, we can start to talk about agreement in beginning of Oct.

        So we keep you updated in middle of Sept, and at end of Sept.

Best Regards

Hi Derek;

        Thank you, but without your idea, we won’t have this nice looking product.

        We have get the information from the supplier of the machine, They need to prepare the parts, because it is made in USA. Therefore it will take around two weeks to prepare and ship to Taiwan. So we will receive the part, after we received the parts we will able to move forward for the mock up. Sorry for the delay of the project

Best Regards

This Manufacture has Invested lots in this project in (Good Faith), I already sold a Concept to them in the past outright and received the agreement and I was paid, (Building Relationships is the Key)

The Problem here is the Invention it'self , is not passing the life time test, so in other-words due to testing and development once the design works as it should (proof of concept) we will finalize the agreement.

Once again the Level of Interest at this point is high enough that this manufacture will pay all (tooling and Patent costs), also this will be a royalty arrangement per unit sold instead of a out right payment.

I can use others deals (done in the past) for leverage if needed in Asia, most of the time that is not needed for a fair and reasonable deal.

The Manufacture already has interest from a U.S   Distributor for samples when ready

 ;)

P.S   Also the clear difference here by working with a small to mid size company I deal with the owner (The Boss), so their is no B/S either they love the concept/Invention or not ,and they will tell me directly and most of the time I supply the manufactures drawings, so my investment is in the development like the Stair Square below, it cost $10,000- to develop but after that the manufactures carried all the tooling and patent costs, I receive a royalty and upfront payment!

Hi dtpater,

Could you say how many percent of retail or manufacturing cost did you get from a unit sold? I need some number to know how much the inventor get from a product, to estimate my invention.

Thanks.
