What do you think of Patent Blog Contests?
« on: 11-03-10 at 02:14 pm »

I found a couple of patent blog contests and I was wondering what everybody else thought of them. Are they legitimate? They seem to be few and far between...

Check out these examples, do these websites actually provide the prize?

Don't know but I believe claim 1 of US 7,565,917 is a tad longer than the claim in the second link you'd provided.

Word count tool on web showed the claim has 1169 words.

For what it's worth, I entered a similar forum contest to win an Android tablet.  I also did a Twitter contest for one.  I'll post here if I win either one.

Yeah, you'd think I'd know better after 16 years on the Internet.  Nope.  I don't.

Regards.
