After many years of working as a mechanical engineer and patent illustrator/ draftsman I decided that I would like to be able to perform the patent illustrator job on a contractual basis.
I am looking for companies that would be interested in my services.
I have 16 years of mechanical engineering experience and 4 years of patent drafting experience.
My responsabilities as a patent illustrator have been as follows:
-creating patent drawings using Unigraphics software that meet the expectations and standards of the USPTO.
-accurately depicting desired designs and product characteristics by producing a variety of assembly drawings, detailed drawings, and artwork.
-creating different style drawings ranging from simple flow charts to complicated exploded isometric views.
I am looking forward to be able to perform the above mentioned services for companies interested in outsourcing their patent drafting jobs.
Please contact me for a complete resume and more details.
Thank you.

The personal message thingy works.  That's how I'd contact the OP.

I don't have any clients and this is the reason I posted my message. Truly, any advice would be appreciated in figuring out if working as a contractor would be something beneficial for me.
I'm a "she" not a "he" :-) but there was no way to tell based on my username.
