Hello, and many thanks to the mods and owner of this site for providing this resource.  I've got mucho in the way of questions.  The biggest one ticking in my dome right now is this:

I have posted extensively in an on-line forum now for years.  I am writing a book, the topic of which relates well to many of my posts on the forum in question.  Do I have anything to worry about inre: using my own writing from this forum verbatim in my book?  Does the fact that I placed my words onto another individual's server give them any proprietary rights over my words now that they have been logged there?

This may be entry level/naive, so I hope it doesn't offend, but it's troubling me and I would appreciate any help with it.
