Where can I get PLI Instructional CDs/DVDs?
« on: 07-20-10 at 09:17 pm »

Hi there,

I was wondering where I might be able to get my hands on past PLI instructional CDs/DVDs, specifically the ones on patent claiming/drafting. There seem to be a lot of very useful and interesting ones (http://www.pli.edu/product/cds.asp) and I've been told they are quite good for beginners such as myself. I've looked in law libraries to no avail. Do law firms carry them? Can I buy them used somewhere? They're so friggin expensive to buy and they don't have a return policy. Any information you can give would be helpful. Thanks.

I got my PLI materials from someone in my firm who had taken the patent bar exam before me.  I suspect there are materials floating around in patent law firms.  I suppose you could attend a meeting of your local patent bar and ask around.
