I design magnets using images of famous people/characters.  I remove the faces/heads and replace them with ferret faces and heads. (to raise money for a shelter)  If the image is taken off a copywrited image, does that infringe on copywrite laws.  It is never sold as such, the image is always changed.  They are done as a parody of the original.
