a) law school grades
b) law school prestige
c) technical school grades
d) technical school prestige
e) having an advanced technical degree (MS or PhD)
f) industry experience (technical, not legal)
g) your presentability (how you look, whether or not your are socially awkward)
h) ethnicity/gender (as in URM or not)

Yeah, I pretty much agree with the above.  However, I think the prestige of the technical institution matters (if you didn't go to a good one, it's important to have gone to a local one).

I also think law school prestige probably matters more than grades.  This is because, if you went to a top 50 LS, you're a good candidate with a 3.0 or better.  Having a 3.5 doesn't make you a much better candidate.

I would also add that litigation is different than prosecution.  In litigation, the technical stuff doesn't matter at all.  b is important, a to a lesser extent and g is probably most important of all.
