copyright/licensing help...
« on: 01-31-05 at 09:48 pm »

Hello All,

I just stumbled across this site, hope someone here can help me out....

I'm trying to aquire licensing for selling limited production (only 20 each) items based on major movie characters.

I've heard some real horror stories of the "little guy" trying to get affordable licensing for small projects like this and I'm just wondering the best way to persue this.

I've already tried to talk to someone from a major movie studio....I've called and left messages for this one person in lincensing there a few times now explaining what I'm trying to do and they won't return my calls.

Is there some other way I should persue this? Should I try dealing with the movie studio directly, as I am, or is there some other way?

This is all new to me, ANY type of input on this matter would be great!

Thanks in advance,
Neal
