Do you really need to edit a post which has only one sentence?  You really have some kind of personality disorder.

PS - I am a former patent examiner.

Did you ever consider that the person who made this screen name might be someone other than the guy you happened to be bickering with at the time?  Perhaps one of the dozens of other people you have bickered with?

Its a buyer's market, but I've already got more than I need.

I concur.

To those reading this thread with the intention of Working for the USPTO, I'd like you to reflect on the fact that these buffoons will be your coworkers.  Those especially adept at this buffoonery will be promoted to become your bosses.  These petty, ego-driven skirmishes are far and plenty.

You were warned.

horsechute has been trying for months to pollute this thread with a negative-bias.

I worked at the PTO for a little over a year before going to a private firm, and I have two friends who still work there.  If you want any info, just ask.

Wow, look at all the people eagerly asking horseSchute for info! Oh, wait, there are none. You have clearly earned a lot of respect on this forum.  ::)

For the first time ever someone comes out in defense of horsechute, and it happens to be someone with only 6 posts.  The only thing that could make your alter ego more obvious is if you bolded and underlined that second "S," and then edited your post.

this whole thread can be summed up in a single sentence.

Working in the PTO is a good option if you plan to: (1) make a permanent career within the PTO, which can be good for your lifestyle or (2) get some patent-related experience before jumping to the firm and don't stay for too long, provided that you are aware that the PTO, like any other government agency with life-long employees, could be a land of seriously broken toys that might make your option (1) less feasible thank you think.

Horsechute has been steadfast in continuously reminding us about the last caveat and for that I salute him  In that role, he's quite the Cassandra of this board.

Horsechute has been insistent on repeating himself regarding the last caveat ad nauseum for the last +6 months.  In that role, he's quite the parakeet of this board.

Fixed.

Uh, one of the broken toys speaks.  Look, the parakeet is YOU. Not only are you trying to poorly imitate horsechute, your senseless chatter is seriously annoying.  I know you are trolling and all, but your efforts (e.g., overtaking horsechute's nick) are so utterly unimaginative that you remind me of a high school marching band playing Macarena.  HorsEchute, on the other hand, is quite entertaining. So please stop wasting space and go away.
