Ah, ignore him. Most trolls like WIB are just tired of getting kicked around in "real life", so they take their personal problems to forums like this where you are forced to listen to them. In his own way, he is "funny", like an exotic species of butterfly. Must have been scared by some indians during his infancy.

LOL, WIB.

Seriously, could you give us an update on your personal life? Last we heard, you were trying to get a job with the PTO because the woman partner with the tight sweater was ignoring you, and she had the hots for the people in your firm who were actually bringing in the money. How did that turn out?

Thanks for remembering, Horseshit.  She eventually gave it up, as you might have imagined.  Went back to the ol' suit pant and blazer.

Oh how I long for those good old sweater days...

The misinformation here is so wrong, it pains me to even look at it.  None of the above is either grammatically or factually correct.

Coming from someone who uses "ur" for "your" in previous posts.
Is that wrong?  Because it hurts?  I never meant to hurt you, EG.

Thanks for understanding, Horseshit.  You wouldn't believe the torture I've been through if I told you.

Wasn't curious about her change of wardrobe, but rather whether you were able to make any, well, let's just say "lateral moves within the organization."

Oh, and you didn't answer my question about the PTO. You know, you have to submit a statement about why you want to work there, and frankly, I don't mind if you use my posts as a writing sample.

I'm not sure I understand.  I've made no lateral moves.  Still an associate.  Even a lateral move would still be an associate.  You're able to understand this, no?

About the PTO, your post also makes no sense again.  Why would I use an ex-canned examiner's "post" as a writing sample?

Horseshit, I really don't mean this in a bad way, but you just don't seem to understand the very basics of the English language and how large, respectable law firms function.

You know, this is kind of fun, but for the sake of the people who have to read this shit, I'm going to let you have the last word, psycho. Oh, and by the way, there is a movie called "American Beauty" you might check out, if you haven't already. There is a character in it who reminds me of you. Likes to send messages by writing them in fire.

No idea here.  Personally, I prefer the discussion about chics with sweaters.  Has the PTO hired any chics with big racks and tight sweaters?  Sorry about degrading this forum.

A few questions for the board:

1) What is the best way to get hired by the PTO as a new examiner?
2) How soon can one hotel after being trained?
3) What are the specific reqs for hoteling (1 hr/wk in Alexandria)?

Thanx

1.  I think new examiners are hired through the pto's hiring fairs and interviews.  I've read about them online.  Unfortunately, it may be quite some time before these occur again because the PTO is, I think, still in a hiring freeze.

2.  Two years from what I remember seeing online.

3.  No idea.
