Hello all,

I have recently had a really interesting idea of creating a live chat to talk with people on the same website as you.
You can then add private messaging, webcam chat and more.

This could be pretty revolutionary, but I 'm not sure it would be legal the way I 'm thinking of doing it.

I came across this website that makes every website a forum, therefore connecting its users:

http://www.yaplet.com/

For example:
http://go.yaplet.com/?url=http://youtube.com
http://go.yaplet.com/?url=http://www.techcrunch.com/

It seems like website publishers/ owners might get upset with this.
We would be associating them with all this content that they have no control of (and putting our logo next to theirs).
It might be considered copyright theft and they could take you to court, especially if you are making money from advertising...

Otherwise, I hope that many forums/ sites find it useful...

What do you guys think? Is it legal?

What could they do about it? Shut it down?
Or would we be protected by the DMCA?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Cheers,

Jonathan
