Hi,

I am working on an iPhone app. I have a specific title for it in mind, lets call it "Blah Blah" for discussion reasons. Now I am afraid that someone else may have also thought of the "Blah Blah" name and wants to release his/her own iPhone app before I do. Is there anyway I can have the name "Blah Blah" copyrighted/registered/trademarked so no one else can use it specifically for iPhone apps.

Thank you!

You cannot copyright a name or a short phrase.

Trademark protection would help if you were using that "name" to identify the source of the iphone apps, but not neccesarily the individual name of the particular app.
