Guidance for Moderators

Hello

I have taken on the task of writing Notes to Guidance for Website Moderators on a Public Service website.

These guidance notes need to outline (but without going into too much detail) what copyright issues a moderator needs to be aware while he/she is deciding whether to approve content submitted by members of the public.

Along with this, I need to produce a similar guide to approving content submitted by kids (i have been told moderators will need to seek parents permission if a child is submitting a photograph of themselves, for example)

I am not well versed in law, and would like to keep things pretty general (so general that issues of a particular countries law differing from anothers doesnt really come into it).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

best regards
