Pre-appeal Brief conference

Hello, Newbie here.

I was wondering if pre-appeal brief conferences were still used.  I know it was a pilot program back in 2005 but I wasn't able to find any information on this in the MPEP.  If the pre-appeal conferences are still used, can you please direct me to guidelines on how to prepare one?
