I have been writing tool company after tool company, trying to get a meeting, just to show my tools to someone who matters.

How do you present your inventions?

Before contacting tool companies, did you think through what selling your tool could mean for the sales of other tools already sold by such a company. In other words: does the sale of your (new, still to be proven) tool go at the expense of their sales of an existing well-proven tool? Why would they want to take such a risk of cannibalizing other products?
This is just one of the things you should think about before contacting companies. In your prospectus you should address the issue of (commercial/financial) risk attached to licensing and selling your invention and explain why that risk is limited. Do this in max. 3 lines.

I presume that the market for your tool selling at (let's assume) $30 will not be 10 times as big as the market for the conventional tool that does the same job at a sales price of $300 per unit.
So, going for your tool is not something that a tool manufacturer will do lightly.
