Google Copyrights
« on: 02-13-10 at 11:31 am »

Websites often use Google Analytics which show visits to websites from different regions. When a webmaster has a Google Analytics account they are able to see keywords, landing pages and specific cities where visitors are visiting a website from. All of the pages that a webmaster can access from their Google Analytics account have ©2010 at the bottom of them.

My question is:

"Does it violate Google's intellectual property rights to take screenshots of these reports and post them on a blog or website?"

It seems to me that these pages are Google's intellectual property. Thanks in advance for your help!

Facts and statistics are not protected by copyrights, but the collection and display and format might be.

While you may not be violating any "IP rights", you're probably violating the user agreement you agreed to which basically states you are only to use the program for internal & private uses.
