How many patent applications in 2008 and 2009

Does anybody know how many patent applications were submitted to USPTO in 2008 and 2009?
How many provisional and non-provisional patents are granted by USPTO in 2008 and 2009?

Sorry, as a beginner, I am not acurate in terms. I guess it should be "provisional applications toward patents" or others.
