Hallo Folks !

i am going to register a TM in US, -
we are from oversee, the guys recommend us to take an attorney, but actually we do have an American address, so may be that's not necessary ?

By the way, what it will be costs us, if we take one ?
Do they bill us the hidden charges ?

If we need a PRIORITY STATEMENT of the registration date, do it extra costs?

I think it is better to have an attorney help you with the whole trademark registration process.  Some are expensive, some are not.

All attorneys charge for their work, some with flat fees, others hourly (I do both depending on the task).

An attorney is not required, but be prepared to pay extra when/if the office action(s) arrive.  A well drafted application may save you $$$ on the back end.
