Requirment of Improments on Existing Patent

Hey guys, I just found that my invention kinda already is patented, what are the limits that I must do to make my own patent,, I guess Im asking is how much do I need to be diff from the one that is current.  HELP LOL

You have to be different from the prior design in a non-obvious way.
