Anyone know of any caselaw out there or anything else that would allow one company to go out and test another companies tradesecreted technology?

I know you can file a lawsuit, but is there anything else one can do?

Thanks,

How did the one company learn of the other company's trade secret?  If by legitimate means, the other company might not have a trade secret anymore.

Regards.

Not only that but that area really rests on the policies and procedures in place to protect that TS.  If the holder did not use reasonable means then too bad.
