The examiner may apply 102(b) if you've given him enough detail,
or he can ask you to provide more detail.   Remember that
the details of the old version may be usable in a 103 rejection.

I agree with Isaac, but would add one important suggestion: do not discuss these issues here.  If your patent is important to you, retain a qualified patent attorney and discuss these issues in confidence.  Discussions here may be "shooting yourself in the foot", so to speak.
