At the end of 2003 Sega of America filed a lawsuit in a San Francisco federal court against Fox Interactive(now part of Vivendi Universal) and Electronic Arts alleging that The Simpsons Road Rage infringed on a patent (U.S. Patent #6,652,376 ) Sega had been granted for Crazy Taxi.

I'm interested to know how this case has developed, are there any internet sources where you can track the progress?

According to the court records, the case settled on October 12 of last year.
