Just a heads up for everyone searching for a job.  I responded to an ad looking posting a contract attorney position in IP (not on this site, but on another well known jobs board).  I was contacted by phone and had an "interview" set up with someone at Legal Authority.  Thinking they were an attorney search firm, I went through their interview process only to hear (at the end of our call): "our search will cost you $1400, will that be check or charge?"  I have done a fair amount of research on this "firm" and found overwhelmingly negative comments from past clients. 

I am sure all of you will do a better job researching before you waste your time with an interview.
