The Supreme Court has granted certiorari in the Bilski case.

Thoughts?

Predictions?

Prosecution strategies for now?

No prediction.  I'd suggest drafting applications where there is at least support in the disclosure for claims that pass muster under Bilksi.  Given the current backlog, maybe you'll have more guidance about what claims you want to try to have an examiner look at by the time prosecution starts.

I concur with Isaac.  Whatever the SCt. decides vis-a-vis Bilski will affect applications I've already long since written.

Regards.
