Timing Issues in Becoming a Patent Agent
« on: 12-04-04 at 01:05 pm »

I have a couple questions regarding timing issues regarding registering to take the "Patent Bar" exam and what happens after one passes.

Q1.  Does anyone have a good idea how long it now takes the OED of the PTO to process a properly completed application to stand for the "Patent Bar" exam?   My completed application was received by the office on Nov. 30.

Q2.  After one takes the exam and is officially notified that he/she has  passed the exam, how long does it generally take to become officially registered to practice as a patent agent before the PTO?

Thanks for your input.
