Selecting a searching authority

For EU applications filed under the PCT, is there any difference between a search performed by KIPO, the EU or the US searching authority?

Fees are less if the EPO did the PCT search.  Each jurisdiction tends to find different things in their searches, too.  So, the results of the search will vary.

Oh, and if your invention could conceivably be considered a business method, the EPO won't search at all, so don't use them.

Regards.
