Whether you like it or not, there is a big risk even starting a label without a trademark search. You may be out there and stopped if the label infringes an existing label. The same holds true for the artists. Though there may be a bit less risk. I am an Intellectual Property professional. I'll give you a few minutes to help you focus on the problem before I talk billing.
