: : I have a limited amount of money in which to try and trademark a name. I also have no information on how to go about doing so. I only wish to have a direction in which to go. Can you help me find this direction ?

: Try the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Homepage - www1.uspto.gov
It is almost as if there is a conspiracy conducted by us lawyers. The forms can even be gotten by contacting the Patent and Trademark Office. The problem is that if there is not a good search, the filed application wont be granted. There are risks of being a trademark infringer. Even a good search is not a guarantee of no difficulty. What is more the prosection of the application once filed may run up against the pecularites of the Examining Attorney. Lawyers are to clients like women are to men. You they can be difficult to live with but hard to do without.
